Proyecto de Desarrollo Cívico Rural (PDCR)
Description: An umbrella for several rural opposition organizations based in Cuba, the PDCR substitutes the Grupo de Apoyo a las Cooperativas Independientes. It is comprised of several rural opposition organizations based in Cuba: The Centro de Estudios e Investigaciones Agrícolas Carlos Quintela (CENIA), Alianza Nacional de Agricultores Independientes de Cuba (ANAIC), Federación Latinoamérica de Mujeres Rurales (FLAMUR), Unión de Jóvenes Rurales (UJR), and Universidad Cívica Cubana (UCC). It has branches in Spain, Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, and the US. The PDCR's website provides documents, news, articles, and general information on these organizations.
